Bruising, swelling, or temporary raised bumps at the injection site may appear but typically subside within a few hours to a few days.

Precautions

Avoid washing your face or applying makeup for 2–3 hours after the procedure.

For 3–7 days, refrain from heavy drinking, smoking, saunas, hot baths, and strenuous exercise.

Temporary raised bumps (embossing) may appear after treatment and can last up to about a week depending on your skin condition.
