Is there anything I need to do before hair removal?

We recommend shaving (waxing) the treatment area 1 to 2 days before your procedure.

Is it true that hair removal is permanent after 5 or more treatments?

After 5 or more treatments, hair thickness and shedding frequency will be reduced semi-permanently. It is not permanently hairless and requires constant maintenance.

Precautions

There will be redness and some swelling for a day or two, but it will heal on its own.

You can apply makeup, wash your face, and shower the same day.

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and swimming pools for a week.

Refrain from waxing, sunning, tanning, or plucking hair during your procedure.

It's always a good idea to use sunscreen when you go outside.

If you have occasional dryness, using a moisturizer will help.

After the procedure, the cauterized hair will fall out naturally over the course of one to two weeks.
